I'm guessing that means even with a buck/boost converter, you still wouldn't be able to charge while playing?

Re: Which GBZ power supply should I use?

I can't see much difference between the two. The Adafruit board just seems more feature-rich. Is it just that the cheaper one doesn't have a low battery indicator?

I've also been looking at boards like this. I'm not even sure if it is suitable.

Re: hencethus' GBZ work in progress

Nice idea inverting the colours! I've seen painted buttons before where the paint transferred onto fingers. Might be something to look out for.

Re: Camble's GBZ

Today I mocked up the location of the boards in the case and I soldered a smaller gauge ribbon cable onto the Teensy. Camble's GBZ

Alright, it looks like I finally have enough parts to start a build thread. I'd been waiting on my screen and a few other pieces so have mainly been working on the Gameboy case. I plan to make my GBZ look as close to the original Gameboy as possible. Aside from the glaringly obvious full colour scre...

Very clever, Woody! Someone has a bunch more space inside for other stuff!
