Re: Performance issues

Try another SD card, it might be the card or the Pi. Try using the card from the other mintyPi.

Re: MintyPi won't turn off??

Also do you have the magnet in the LCD bezel? Without that it won't turn off when you close the lid. If it is there then try the reflash especially on a different SD card.

Re: Nintendo switch battery

Possibly for measuring temperature so it can stop charging if it gets too hot.

Re: Anyone else have a GPi Case?

Sounds like a bad pi, I used regular batteries and got around 3ish hours and then did Lipo mod for a little more time plus being rechargeable.

Re: PocketPi FE audio quit working.

You can check the volume wheel with a multimeter set to 20k or higher resistance and check the legs with the probes as you turn the wheel. There should be changes as you adjust the wheel.

I would also check the voltage trace going to the chip actually has voltage.

Re: buttons not working

Sounds like you broke connections between the pi and controller pcb which might have happened from the flexing you likely did getting the face plate in the tin. From how you're describing it that could be it but if that is not what is happening then you might need to redo the controls using a keyboa...

Re: Minty Pi 3 Screen

It's an SPI LCD not one that is compatible with that camera connector on the Pi zero.

Re: PocketPi FE audio quit working.

You replaced the audio chip? If so is it oriented properly? And soldered on properly? They are a bit tricky to solder on and if not oriented properly will not work at all.

Re: vr3 minty wont power on using power button with battery

The D1 was the way to check 5v and also battery power to the pcb. This new version has the proper 5v test pad so you test the 2 pi 5v pads to that 5v pad on the pcb (or the D1 if you want). Either way if you get no beep then you need to reflow the 5v pads, tons of posts about this issue and always s...

Re: buttons not working

Be sure you're using the correct mintyPi image or the buttons won't work. Also during boot up on the Retropie screen there show show briefly a battery icon on the top right hand side which means it's loading the software for controls but If not try reflashing the SD card and try another SD card.
