Re: What's Everyone's Battery Life?

I personally think the lack of low battery video thing is a big deal. Can we try and get one that has it on camble's modified script? I'm gonna try and get an LED set up but if not the video is the only thing I would have to know where the battery is at... @Ganreizu the problem is not the script, i...

Re: What's Everyone's Battery Life?

@HoolyHoo I actually tweaked the script a bit, too. Instead of the battery warning when the LED is on for 10% of the 10sec polling interval, I think I set it to 50%. Good to know about no warning before the 60 second shutdown alert on the diode. I hadn't really looked into the differences yet. Mayb...

Re: What's Everyone's Battery Life?

@HoolyHoo On my first GBZ I used Popcorn's red LED connection. I have the components to do the diode monitor for my next two (not started yet). @RxBrad Couple of things. With your current setup you can tweak the python script and get a little longer before it shuts down. Maybe 1/2 hour, I find popc...

Re: What's Everyone's Battery Life?

@RxBrad what did you end up using to monitor low battery, popcorns circuit to red led or cambles LBO diode?

On a side note my battery is a 2600 mah that fits in battery compartment without having to modify it and I get around 2 1/2 hours out of it.

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed

I'm not presented with anything at the prompt (is that correct?). Yes If I power off whilst in this state there's a half second delay or so and then it just cuts power. If I stop the script via ctrl + c I get the attached message. Is that expected? Yes I just don't know at this point if it's the sc...

Re: HDMI out

Some people install their screens upside down on purpose because it fits better in their case and then in software flip right side up. In this case it would be a problem as it would also be upside down on their hdmi. If you installed it as normal then as wermy stated, no worries. Happy Building! :D

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Power Supply Issues.

Not sure to be honest. Pi 3 will run under 2.5 but you will see that rainbow square when it is and could be unstable. You said your getting the square even when you plug it your wall adapter directly? If so, start with checking that. Sometimes, when you have a cheap one, they may say they are rated ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Power Supply Issues.

The rainbow square means your pi is being underpowered. The way you have it connected with the Powerboost I don't think it can provide enough current for a pi 3, especially with something connected to the usb.

So it's mean that it's well programmed.

So the problem is between RPZ and AIO ?? Or may be Retropie ?
Did you try to plug in a usb keyboard and bind that with Retropie?
