Re: Just getting started...
Not to be That Guy© but if you're sticking with SNES controls and a 3.5" screen have you considered a Gameboy Zero build? A lot of people cut their teeth on a GBZ, it has the features you're looking for, and there are plenty of documented builds. The only downside is no N64 or PSX games but if you'r...

Re: Game Boy Null Kit
Hopefully I'm not too late to the party, I'm interested in a kit! Amazing work and your price is reasonable. Looking forward to seeing a rig built with tinted plastic for the buttons/ back panel.

Re: Modular VMU [In Progress]
Hoo boy, I can't seem to find any of the 400mah in the states. Hello China! If it means I don't have to settle for 100mah then it's worth the wait. And 4mm is the perfect thickness.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Re: Modular VMU
That looks like it is the same display I got, just Ardafruit branded and with unnecessary stuff on it :) It is indeed perfect for the build, you can find a similar one on Aliexpress searching for: "IPS 1.54 inch SPI 262K COG TFT LCD Screen with Adapter Board ST7789V Drive IC 240*240". I am currentl...

Re: Modular VMU
I've looked at that screen. But thought the card reader would add thickness. What do you think? Does it seem doable, what kind of battery are you going with? /nilly Good point. It sits lower than the button PCB so I'm hoping it'll be okay. We'll find out this weekend when I have time to wire it all...

Re: Modular VMU
Hi, just got a vmu in the mail and is about to gather other parts for a build. Where did you find that display? Looks really good, do you have a link? Thanks It's different from Smoki's, but I got my screen from Adafruit . It fits very well if you aren't afraid of removing bits from the case. Hopef...

Re: Dreamcast VMU Zero All-in-one
Amazing work, thank you so much for the PCB files too!
However, I tried uploading the key only board to OSH Park and I received an error stating there is no top copper layer. Am I doing something wrong? I'm a little new to ordering custom boards....
