Re: Tactile Switch Wiring?

It looks like your using Wermy's method, which requires a few extra steps than the newer boards. If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to connect the L and R buttons to the Teensy. From what I've seen/read, they would go to pins 10 and 11. I noticed there are Ground (GND) pins on each side of the ...

Re: Pushed Screws into Case Too Hard

You could glue a piece of slightly thick plastic on the inside of the case using JBWeld Epoxy Syringe glue. Once the glue has set, somehow screw through the plastic, maybe with a pointy screw first to get your hole, then use a regular screw to shut it. JBWeld works great once it's completely hardene...

Re: Tactile Switch Wiring?

Could you post a picture and which type of board your using for your build?..I ask because some boards have solder points designated for the back buttons. Without knowing what were looking at, it's a shot in the dark Some of these guys sell L1 L2 R1 R2 switch boards. I know HoolyHoo had some in the ...

Re: Looking to buy a Circuit board

As Rodocop suggested, right now Kite's Circuit Sword has everything you'll need to get started. No need to buy parts and pieces (power switch, volume wheel, wires, 3.5mm jack... Etc) separately. TinkerBoy has some excellent boards as well, he's always updating them and trying to make things easier f...

Re: My Red GBZ using Kites Circuit Sword Lite

Looks amazing, so happy to hear it all went well! Don't forget you can increase the backlight brightness with those little switches on the back (which you can access when you remove the battery). See the wiki for which ones, but if you flick the two at the right hand side to "ON" you'll get it brig...

Re: My Red GBZ using Kites Circuit Sword Lite

Great colour combination! (shame about the grey cartridge though - have a look on Aliexpress, you can get aftermarket cartridges super cheap in loads of colours!) That cartridge was just a place holder for the picture, Im going to replace it with a dummy red, yellow, or red and yellow cartridge as ...

My Red GBZ using Kites Circuit Sword Lite

This literally took me a couple of hours to finish, in a single evening, while taking care of my two little girls. This has been the easiest build so far, and I'm very happy with the final result. These first two pictures show the most work to be done involving the Circuit Sword Lite, besides the wo...

Re: Rodocops 16th build (Kite Lite)

Awesome, that did it, I ended up taking your suggestion and went with the SFTP method. Managed to get a roms from multiple Emulators of there.
Thank you so much Kite/Rodocop for the quick replies and walking me through my issues. Everything is flawless so far.

Re: Rodocops 16th build (Kite Lite)

I'm not really sure what the directory has to be, from what I remember I have to create a folder called "retropie" on the root of the SD card, plug it into the Raspberry Pi, and it would create additional folders for each of the installed emulator. I used to do these steps when I had a Raspberry Pi ...

Re: Rodocops 16th build (Kite Lite)

I just finished up my Kite's CS Lite, the process was just as simple as the original circuit sword. The only problem I'm having is getting Retropie to run. I realize the Circuit Sword uses Raspberry pi CM3 while the Lite uses Raspberry Pi Zero W, did you use the same Image file as for the Circuit S...
