Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with Arduino IDE
For OSX, if you don't have the "Sparkfun Pro Micro" board listed in Tools / Boards, then do the following: In the main menu bar, go to the "Arduino menu" and "Preferences" In the last field titled "Additional Boards Manager URLs" field, enter this url: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sparkfun/Ardu...

Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu
Button included sounds like a really good idea. Was there a reason the Popcorn version used a latching switch? Regular tactile seems to make more sense when compared to most reset buttons like this. I used a latching switch so I could disconnect the batteries when putting away the unit for longer p...

Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with Arduino IDE
Instead of building that monstrosity of a reset switch, can I not just using a single breadboard jumper wire and carefully close the reset pins when needed? We are only closing the ISP Reset to GND, correct? https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fecx.images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FI%2F51YldD...

Re: PI3 beginning to support network and USB booting
Just did some mild digging on Raspberry Pi's github, and it looks like the logic from my postulated boot sequence is correct! So, if/when support for USB booting is added to the PI0, we could potentially implement USB plug n play via cartridges. Thumb Drive, Networking Devices, Soundcards, anything....

Re: PI3 beginning to support network and USB booting
I think I've already mentioned this idea before in a long lost post, but if they eventually support USB flash drive booting on the pi0, what might be a cool implementation is if you mapped the cartridge port to a single USB port. Then you could plug n play different USB sticks inside various cartrid...

PI3 beginning to support network and USB booting
Hopefully it's only a matter of time for the PI0

Re: PowerMonitor prevents from quitting games
Hi there, Thanks for the video. The monitor should not affect the operation of Emulation Station nor RetroArch. Firstly, what I would do is remove the power monitor and confirm that its not a problem with RetroArch being unable to close certain ROMs you might have. That way you know for sure. But I ...

Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu
I have updated my original thread and the battery monitor github readme.md and have pointed them to this thread as the new recommended hardware solution over the pololu. I will be testing this circuit and if all goes well, I'll completely abandon support of the pololu and push this as the proper met...

Re: [For Sale] GBZ All In One PCB (Pre Orders)
After cracking my screen while I was finishing up, and then now having to pull everything out just to replace the screen, I might just grab one of these all-in-ones, rather than resolder and retest everything all over again. I'll keep my eye out for when you release this batch of 25 next week. Nice ...
