Re: what do you do for a living?
Hello all! i am looking for a change of career (again). I started out as a fitter and turner (cnc machinist) then moved into hydraulics and pneumatics. Then got a second trade as diesel mechanic and since then i spend most of my time doing electrical faultfinding. I am getting bored of this job and...

Re: dpad response is poor
It happens with me on helders AIO v1.4. Not super frequent (maybe once every 10-15 min?) and it's manageable though it does suck for games that are input intensive. I don't think it's a hardware thing, I think it has to be something to do with retropie.

Re: [GUIDE] Soldering School - AKA Don't wreck your new AIO board!
As a scrub I found the solder sucker to be the far better, albeit more expensive, option. I still have garbage cheap ass soldering irons which work well enough but would still rather have spent money on a solid brand. The cost of tools for this project are not cheap if you're starting with nothing, ...

Re: Taking the GBZ on a flight
Just got back from thanksgiving travel with my AIO v1.4 GBZ. The worst I got was an extra pat down (standard stuff) and they swabbed my hands and tested for trace chemicals for explosives. Obviously I didn't intend to die so it was fine. My GBZ has hot glue on the outside so it was subject to extra ...

Re: Gan's build
Finally finished the build. All games work (have to take sd card out again actually to fix cavestory), and all controllers set up. To my complete surprise the pi zero works with a gamecube adapter I bought for melee netplay and computer emulators. Unfortunately with the big screen I never figured ou...
