Re: USB hub issues using connector plug
yep, looks like that did work if i only use the plug's wires - so, why can't the power come from the common strip then? if the pi and the hub are both plugged into the same 5v source, why do i have to wire it through the plug and not direct to the components? is the data signal stronger that way, o...

PIN3 on the RZC2013S
SW
Power Switching Output. SW is the switching node that supplies
power to the output. Connect the output LC filter from SW to the
output load.
So wire vcc to pin3 (3rd on the bottom from left to right on your picture)

Re: Help with USB hub and USB sound card
WOW, that was quick mail
I'm so sad with this problems that i shelved the GBZ buildings i was working on (well, not the real reason, actually i got a new job)
So i can assume retropie has compatibility issues with this HUBS?

Re: ABH's GameBoy SP Rpi 3 A+
Very clean build. This is probably the hardest build to make because of the tiny console.
Congrats, its very nice!!!

Re: Help BW screen variant 13 5V conversion
Let me rephrase it.
First wire it normally with 12v, and measure the voltage across pin3 and gnd.
Then try to use 5v directly to vcc. If it doesnt work, then mod it connecting vcc and pin3

Re: Help BW screen variant 13 5V conversion
No, you must wire it to SW (power switching) - Pin3
But first, as a precaution, wire it normal 12v and measure the voltage across that pin 3 and confirm its 5v
If its really 5v, solder a wire from vcc to pin3
