Re: Wireless Charging

As already answered by Kite:
On the mainboard, next to the USB-C charging port are two solder points: labled by +/-

This is where the QI charger output leads are goint to be soldered to.

Never to the battery directly since there is no charging control / protection in this case!

Re: [Circuit Gem] No sound output.

Since I feel these are several issues now: could this be a "problem" from the board amplifier? Maybe during switch on the power there is this well known "plop" impulse from the amp going to the speaker and since this speaker is really tiny his coil could burn? This is just a feeling!

Re: Kite's Circuit Sword - Kodi Navigation

I installed Kodi on my CM3 fine a time ago and d pad buttons works fine. I don't remember in detail what I did but maybe there is a remapping function somwhere inside the Kodi settings. Look in the started Kodi settings, having expert settings enabled if available and look somwhere for input and som...

Re: JB Weld, Gorilla Glue, or something else?

Keep in mind that epoxy glue is something forever! There is later on no possibility to remove the screen for any replacements without distroying the screen and the case. For myself I decided to use just hotglue for the screen in order to be able to heat up everything later on for possible updates. A...

Re: Noop question SD kite sword

As Kite wrote: the filesystem should be expanded in order to get enough space on the need partition. Perform the first boot with your raspberry with this card before transfering the roms. You can later if need resize your partitions with linux using Gparted if need.

Re: Noop question SD kite sword

The roms needs to go into partition2. But since this partition is ext4 you are normally only on linux able tonwrite to this file. This is the reason most of us transfer roms after all setup finally by a ssh connection using terminal or other sftp file transfer clients. Or you access your sd card by ...

Re: Noop question SD kite sword

For transfering images to SD card you need the right software tools. Just google for it depending on windows or Mac other tools are necessary. When you transfer the image to the SD card all previous formating or file system will be revoked and several new partitions will be written by your software ...
