Re: 1.3-1.5 inch screen
I've been trying to fit a raspberry pi 0 in a SNES controller to make a handheld. I've been able to source most of the parts but no screen that is small enough. did you ever get anywhere with this? i've been messing with some spi screens that are under 2" and having some good luck with using the ju...

Re: Help
the back of the pi should sit flush against the board, so the sd card pokes out the one side.
did you also solder the holes for the power, tv, and usb (those are not on the gpio)?

Re: Where to get started making a gameboy zero
Mah is the capacity of the battery. That’s essentially just how long it will last / how many components it will support. The connections on those pcb and button board are pretty straight forward. A > A, X > X, Start > Start, etc. check out my BMO build for instance: https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtop...

Re: Where to get started making a gameboy zero
ok, thanks i have taken pocket adventures into consideration, especially since if he does it in usd (i converted it to aud) then it is nearly a fifth of the tinker boy v2.0.1, and it has a headphone jack, What i am planning to do now is if i can't afford the build i will take out the speaker, becau...

Re: Where to get started making a gameboy zero
oh ok, thanks! edit: so i could get maybe something like one of the cheaper tinkerboy boards without the headphone jack? and also, what currency does tinkerboy use i believe his stuff is in USD. yeah, so... his v1.x boards are the "common ground" type. basically, just look for "gbz button pcb" or s...

Re: Where to get started making a gameboy zero
so, there are cheaper options than this approach, if you want a budget build. the most cost-effective way to do it is to do gpio wiring for the buttons, to a "common ground" type board (a lot of soldering, but not really all that complicated) which can be found for a couple bucks all over. and to us...

Re: Where to get started making a gameboy zero
you don't have to desolder anything. just solder to the pads on the underside (its the same as if you did that).

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 old new build
those screens are terrible - i think you might be out of luck with that. if you look around for the model listed as "2 - ch real color 3.5 inch tft lcd display monitor module" which people tended to call the "gearbest" version, that has about as good quality as you're going to get with those composi...

Re: Where to get started making a gameboy zero
Recently i got two soldering irons as a gift, (they are both single temperature, so not changable) and then i found this website, i watched some videos about different projects and decided that i want to make a Gameboy Zero. I watched through wermys video then started gathering links for the parts ...
