Re: My Gameboy Pi
Tried to desolder the rest of the GPIO pins by adding more solder but couldn't get it to work. Bought a more powerful soldering iron and managed to desolder them all, all the Ethernet and USB holes and the headphone jack. Just need to do the camera and display connectors now. LCD arrived but I wont ...

Re: LCD in Australia
The one I originally bought looked like the left on in this photo: http://sudomod.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_2572.jpg Have since ordered another off eBay that looks slightly different, so hopefully it will work. If not, I will have to buy something like this I guess: http://core-electronics....

LCD in Australia
I bought an LCD from ebay (from china) and it arrived today but the controller board is too wide to fit in the gameboy case.
I looked at the wiki and all of the screens on there don't ship to Australia.
Any other Aussies had this problem?

Using GPIO for controls
I'm using a Pi 2 in my GBZ and will be using the GPIO pins for the buttons.
Can I use any of the "spare" green pins for my buttons or is there certain ones I should use?

Re: My Gameboy Pi
I think I need a more powerful soldering iron for them. The one I have is 30w - 50w and I had it on the hottest temperature I could.
Will try again tomorrow and maybe buy a cheap more powerful iron.

Re: My Gameboy Pi
Button PCB arrived and I thought I would try soldering for the first time ever.
Also continued desoldering the Pi. Some pins seemed to be more difficult than others so I left them for now.
