Just a heads-up for everyone... in raspi-config, if you Disable Wait for Network at Boot, AJRedFern's existing splash video is the perfect length. You just need the single SD card for both the OS and the ROMs, the ROMs are loaded into the folder structure on the SD card. There are multiple ways of doing this.

@norseman There are a few different ways of doing this as another user has mentioned, some easier than others. If you have installed WiFi in your GBZ then they can be easily dragged and dropped in to the necessary folders via WinSCP or something similar, you just need to know your Pi's IP, username ...
