Re: Power Strip [OSHPark]

I ordered a set of 3 on 8/8 and I just got a shipping confirmation earlier today. I can probably spare one @wermy if @jonlimitless doesn't already have your covered. The turnaround was a lot faster than I expected, I think I got lucky because they had some space on a "rush" panel and my order was s...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

I'm going to buy a separate hub to place between the pi and the AIO and see if that will allow me to use my flash drive or wifi along with the AIO.

Re: Power Strip [OSHPark]

@helder what do you think the current limit is on the standard board vs the 2oz copper?

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

Actually the powerboost can supply 2a of current (2.5a peak). The 1a rating is for charging. https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-powerboost-1000c-load-share-usb-charge-boost/assembly?view=all I still think some devices are not compatible with the usb on the aio but of course I'll need to continue te...

Re: Wifi dongle setup on Gameboy Zero running Retropie using Raspberry Pi Zero

@hueblo

We're you able to get your wifi dongle working? Does a flash drive work in the extra usb port on the aio?

I was able to get my wifi dongle and usb drive working if I bypass the aio and plug directly into the pi.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

I did some current tests tonight and here is what I found: screen (ebay-wankedastore 640x480) - 380-390mA AIO (no additional USB devices connected) - 300mA while starting up and 60mA after it settles down pi zero - 90mA while starting up and 220mA while the OS is running sandisk USB flash drive - 70...

Re: [GUIDE] Diagrams to wire a GBZ with all-in-one board and graceful shutdowns

Everything I've read online said to combine the channels before they are amplified (line level). I'll definitely test it on a breadboard first once I find four matching resistors out of my pile. If you do that the headphones would be mono right and mono left. I think it also works after the amp. It...

I believe each guide is completely separate and should be followed exactly.

Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with USBasp Programmer

Thanks @helder, looks very straightforward. My USBasp is still on its way but I'll be sure to give this a go. Too bad I don't have a 2x3 header. I wonder if I can cut a longer one to size, but worst case I'll have to solder 6 wires.

Re: Battery Life

I've looked at this pack too but since it is made from 18650 cells, it probably wouldn't fit. The battery compartment is only about 12mm deep while this pack is 18mm thick. There is another thread discusses packs made from 14500 cells which is similar in size to AA, check it out. http://www.sudomod....
