Nice, the standard pixel art themes are some of my favorites, goes well with the retro games.

There are usually people who order more than one, end up not building the extras for what ever reason and sell them. I'd also not be surprised if there were multiple runs of the v3s but it's good to ask as we never know what the future holds.

After flipping the screen, add "display_rotate=2" to the boot/config.txt and reboot. This should flip the display 180 degrees so it shows "correctly" on your inverted screen. I very much enjoyed both builds, I love the GBA form factor and my wife wants a CM3 for her travel bag. If you ever do a CM3 build with the printed port cover you will want to order a micro-usb cable with a longer port.

Is one necessary? Nope but as they can be picked up inexpensively and have plenty of utility outside the GBZ I would say go ahead and get one unless your budget is extremely tight.
