Re: 3.5 inch TFT screen issue ( 5V config / Reboots)
It may also be that that batter simply cannot handle the power demands of the Pi + Screen. Replacing it with an identical model might not solve the issue.

Re: Battery ?
Typical builds with a 2200 mah from adafruit get about 3 to 3.5 hours. You can stretch that a bit more if you follow Yaya's power guide (2nd link in his sig, its also in the wiki under Guides). SO just going off that, a 1000mah will get you roughly half that time, about 1.5-2 hours just like Yaya sa...

Re: File transfer
Ahh, I'm on Windows 7 and its as easy as opening an explorer window and navigating to //retropie/
I usually do that to dump some roms on there before following your power guide to kill off samba.

Re: 3.5 inch TFT screen issue ( 5V config / Reboots)
The screen flickers when the voltage drops too low. As Vet says, you've got power issues. IF you are using that Samsung battery as the sole source of power, and getting flickering, but it works OK when connected to USB it means that battery isn't going to work.

Re: File transfer
Ok, but almost every single other response was about using SSH or SFTP, when SMB is often simpler for beginners, and always available on a fresh install (assuming Wifi is working). @emaborsa If you have another Pi available, you can connect a monitor and keyboard to it, connect it via ethernet to yo...

You can also use SMB aka Windows File Sharing if you have not turned that off in retropie. Should show up as //retropie/roms

They look like standard bluetooth controllers, so it should work out of the box. Thread on reddit saying it worked out of the box, but that the shape and build quality weren't the best, but hey, for $0.25 ...

Re: Using 3.7v 14500 batteries (AA format) (Game Boy Zero)
Everyone needs to be aware that the maximum possible rating of a 14500 is about 900mA. Anything listing higher than that is straight up lying. Regarding charging/using. Since they're standard LION, the PowerBoost can handle them if you wire them all up in parallel (basically one big 3.7v battery). A...

Nice, when you get a moment please share those. It's going to be a few weeks before I get my screen anyway.
