Re: Video Out of GBZ on Kite's Board

Oh wow... Config wise Make sure the hdmi_force_hotplug is NOT enabled It is not. Software wise You will need to run something to clone from DPI to Composite, I'll be releasing an app in a month that will do this however you can search for "gertCloner" which will do it (albeit with some caveats which...

Re: [solved] Sound on Startup / Switching WiFi off

That's what it looks like. If you want to stay with Kit's version, everything is ok. If you want to update, you have to take adjustments.

this i try, no success
maybe i need to try refresh install

when you change to alsa, you also change on retropie sounds setting or you leave as both in setting

thx
I had already updated RetroPie completely before and at the end only changed the line from "both" to "alsa".

Video Out of GBZ on Kite's Board

In the post https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=2508&start=1630#p51799 I asked how to get the video signal out of the GBZ. HDMI is difficult because the on/off switch is in the way. Is it possible to use S-Video Composite pins? The way you can see it here: https://cdn-learn.adafruit.com/a...

Re: [solved] Sound on Startup / Switching WiFi off

It's just weird that you're still okay. Maybe the script was simply moved/copied with your changes to the new position? :D

I am happy to have found the solution on my own.

Re: Arduino code selector for Kites SAIO

Great idea! Flashing worsk fine and i can choose joystick. "B = left click and A = right click" don't work in the RetroPie menu to choose the game. It is a bit tricky. You have to restart the GB (or just emulation station) for configure the input (keyboard device) one time. In your video (01) you c...

Re: [partially solved] Sound on Startup / Switching WiFi off

I have my solution. Somewhere between Kite's RetroPie version 4.3.x and the latest setup-script/update process, the file "/etc/init.d/asplsashscreen" moved to "/opt/retropie/supplementary/splashscreen/asplashscreen.sh". At the new position in the line "omxplayer -o both -b --layer 10000 "$line"" you...

Re: [partially solved] Sound on Startup / Switching WiFi off

I know this bug and have already mentioned it in my first post. At that time I didn't have a file called Asplashscreen. I will check after the RetroPie update how far this bug has crept in again.
