You can remove the wires going to the board and even the capacitors on the left of the board but be sure to use a jumper wire where the capacitors were and that should do it.

Re: [For Sale] Game Boy Zero Controller PCB W/ Optional Audio(Worldwide)

Try the one I posted first as it's the easiest and if it doesn't work out (let us know on this thread) then follow wermy's guide. The end result is what we care about so as long as the speaker cuts out when you insert a headphone jack is all we're after.

Re: Mod for GameBoy Color (GBC), Gameboy Advance (GBA), Gameboy Advance SP (GBASP)

Well here it is all finished up, nothing fancy except I did add a Mono speaker input and Speaker Output where the original speaker is for easy audio mounting. I'm going to order a 3 batch from OSHPark and if it's all good to go I'll post the buy links and anyone else who is doing the GBC mod that wa...

Re: [For Sale] Game Boy Zero Controller PCB W/ Optional Audio(Worldwide)

@Helder, I am definitely a noob at this stuff so please excuse me if I'm wrong here. I'm a little confused by the headphone diagram you posted on page 1 of this thread. You posted that the bottom left pin was for the ground black to the speaker and the top left was for the Red+ to the speaker. In t...

Re: Understanding a USB Hub

That last port is power only and like I mentioned above is either active and receives power or is inactive and does nothing since the switch cuts off power to it. Darn, that is disappointing. I bought this thinking it was a 4-port usb. Any suggestions for equally small board that has four ports? I ...

Re: [OSHPark] PWM Audio Buffer Boards (SMD and Through Hole)

Finally got a chance to test it. Got it all wired up last night and could not get it working. I think PWM0 is default right channel? I had it wired to left, switched it over to right and got it working this morning. Super loud using the uxcell 3w amp, there's a bit of hiss I need to work out though...

Re: Understanding a USB Hub

Ok so looking at that board I can see when the switch is up there is power going to the whole circuit and the last port (the 2 wire port) isn't even receiving power then when the switch is down only that 2 wire port receives power and the rest of the circuit isn't active.

Re: Understanding a USB Hub

So, that fourth cable is capable of data? The pictures on amazon hints that it can (they show four peripherals plugged in). How would I remove the switch and bridge it so it's permanently stuck on otg? Working on the pictures. What I mean is that last port looks like it only has power so I doubt it...
