Re: Game Boy Zero case CAD files

Did anyone think, now that printing the full case modified and ready to use is possible, to modify the front case to add a second speaker and match the pattern of the original GB? Having two speakers with real stereo audio would be a great improvement. If you want to do something like that you'd ha...

Re: Game Boy Zero case CAD files

I've updated the first post with new downloads and pictures. I moved a lot of the things on the inside of the front shell slightly around so that it should fit the SAIO way better now. Also the download now includes models for the x-pad, the AB-buttons, the on/off switch and the plug for the EXT.CON...

Regarding knives for cutting – I don't know how your experience with these is and I don't know if you are interested in any advice, so feel free to ignore the following  : Don't g...

Re: Game Boy Zero case CAD files

Kite uploaded a dxf with the outlines from his board. You should use it to desgin your case. http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2508&p=38314#p38391 There are small tricky things, not really bad, but unexpected. The AB-YX square is no square, it is a parallelogramm. Oh, that's interes...

Re: Game Boy Zero case CAD files

I've updated the first post with new downloads. The geometry is the same as in the last update, but I reordered the hierarchy inside Fusion so that the three parts should be recognized as individual objects by other programs. This works just fine in max and I hope it will do in others as well. I red...

Re: Game Boy Zero case CAD files

I too ultimately chose Fusion because I already work with 3ds max every day. And Eagle is also something really I want to try, too (that is if I ever manage to understand the electronic stuff). It looks quite interesting.
Aaah – so much to play with, so little time...
