Re: Meet and Great?
I probably won't join because I'm a cube of tofu and ineligible for Facebook, but that sounds interesting! :) Oh geez! I thought you were a crouton this entire time! As for facebook, I'll join but I'll probably not share who I am over here just to keep enough distance from unwanted contact (and I i...

Re: DirtyBeagles Build/Progress
Sorry, I think you misunderstood me. I have the screen and control board completely removed from the housing. The control board is stuck to the back of the screen with glue or something. I was wondering how you separated it. Does that make more sense? I dont remember who it was who mentioned it in ...

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ
Wow @Popcorn! You're miles ahead of us in this shutdown thing!
Regarding the shutting down message graphic file... I think you can whip up a simple graphic file and just describe how anyone can customize the file.

Re: Teensy not accepting 1 button
@Fleder
A similar thing happened to me before. Try this: use your right d pad as "ground" and using a piece of wire, bridge any other connection and see if it will register the button you just bridged. Let me know what happens.

@wermy
Yeah, I think it's better not to show the avatars in the post with quotes. Kinda destroys the layout.

Re: chiz's GB Pi2
Update #14 Making the Cartridge Bay Cover I've cut the cartridge this morning for use as cover for the cartridge bay. Recall that going the RPi2 route rather than the Pi Zero, I had to sacrifice the removable cartridge feature of Wermy's original GBZ design. Orienting the RPi2 to be placed in the c...

Re: New subforums, mentions, default avatars
I can see the @ sign not being replaced and seem to be out of place. Let me test mentioning you without the sign.

The features keep on improving! Thanks, Wermy!
Question on mentioning other users... Do we still need to prefix each forum member name with an at sign (@)? Or need to explicitly quote their replies?

Re: chiz's GB Pi2
@Retrohead95 Yes they're the same styrene sheets but I prefer the white variant over the gray/black one because it would be difficult to see pencil marks on the darker variants. I'm primarily using the .040" (1.02 mm) thickness in my build so far. @grenade44 I will be soldering a disc potentiometer ...
