Re: What kind of projects would you like to see next?
I LOVE the Wii U gamepad / Pi3 idea from the other thread Nice big screen, lots of space, lots of buttons Plus if android comes to Pi3 it's just icing on the cake Kinda pricey, but still it'd be worth it I agree. After I complete my GBZ, I want to use a Wii U gamepad. I was seeing some broken ones ...

Re: using a Smartphone Display instead
It may be possible, with a strong emphasis on may. :) Link: http://hackaday.com/2014/11/02/using-cell-phone-screens-with-any-hdmi-interface/ Imagine a retina iPhone screen on the GBZ!! That would be awesome to use an iPhone 4 screen. The display would be beautiful. I read about the componen...

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in
Here is this display (640x480) on eBay. I asked the seller for the dimensions of the screen inside the body. $21 US Dollars. http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-5-TFT-LCD-Color-Screen-Car-Rear-View-Monitor-DVD-DVR-HD-640X480-resolution-AV-/331729506573?hash=item4d3c9e910d:g:gzoAAOSw3ydVpLDf Isn't this about ...

Re: Alternative store for the 3.5 TFT
I bought that same screen from Ebay from BuyDisplay. I tried it out but part of the screen gets cut off :( . I attached a photo. I just requested a return today. Beware! Check your screen out before the 14 day warranty. That looks more like not properly adjusted overscan. Or maybe wrong resolution ...

Re: What kind of projects would you like to see next?
I'd like to see an original GBA style build (but with A,B,X,Y buttons) http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/aceattorney/images/3/3d/GBA.gif/revision/latest?cb=20100721010001 I have a Pi Zero sitting here and a spare case for the GBA as I replaced the shell of my GBA a while back. I would also like t...

Re: Alternative store for the 3.5 TFT
That fuzziness looks really peculiar, have you tried input sources other than the SNES? :D The only other source I've tried is a Wii and I had the same problem. My Pi setup isn't ready to display yet. After work today I will take a good photo of it rather than using my crappy phone camera. I think ...

Re: Alternative store for the 3.5 TFT
Thanks for the heads up! So it's not using the left part at all, even during boot? Anyway. Will try as soon as I get it! Other than that, how is the performance? Brightness, ghosting?... I haven't tried booting the Pi with it. I had the screen connected straight up to my SNES :D . Other than the cu...
