Re: Powerboost 500 - Not turning on
Did you try disconnecting the LBO wire from the Pi and see if it works then? I'd also try with a clean install from Wermy's mintyPi image to make sure the Pi isn't shutting down immediately (which the LBO script I used will do - there are some notes in the Github repo that explain how to disable the...

djbriane's mintyPi's with 500c and Safe Shutdown
Wanted to show off my two mintyPi builds - Peppermint and Spearmint. I had a few challenges along the way but in the end they turned out great and I think I love them more than my GBZ! IMG_0534.jpg IMG_0530.jpg IMG_0467.jpg In one of my builds I decided to use the PowerBoost 500c instead of the micr...

Re: Poweboost 500c wiring
Pretty much the exact wiring I did. Great diagram. I didn't even think about the low battery sensing. Once I open it up to add the speaker I will add that as well. So far it's been working great for me - doesn't have the fancy battery level indicator but in all my tests so far it's properly sensed ...

Re: Poweboost 500c wiring
I just did this in one of mine so that I could get low battery sensing. Here's the wiring I used:

Re: L/R Buttons Reversed
Hm, I'll have to take a look at this when I get home - could be that they are indeed switched in the retroGame configuration but I never noticed because the controls can be mapped to whatever in emulationstation (if that makes sense). If you want to swap them you should be able to do so in /boot/re...

Re: L/R Buttons Reversed
Swapping them in the retrogame config file did the trick. Thanks!!

L/R Buttons Reversed
Hi all - So after finishing two mintyPi builds, during play testing I realized that the L/R buttons are reversed in RetroPie and emulators (for example, hitting R scrolls UP the list of games rather than the expected DOWN). I tried to edit the emulation station configuration file to swap them but it...

Re: Wiring Diagram: mintyPi controller PCB
I believe thats more of a convention thing to indicate which pad is #1 (don't think it connects to anything on the controller PCB).

Re: I lifted the power pad off the sound card!
So this is somewhat related but are there any tips for checking if the crystal or other components got damaged after de-soldering? I've got two seemingly dead sound cards that I can't see any visible issue with (none of the pads are ripped off or other bridged connections). The cards show up in the ...
