Re: DMG I2C PCB Help
Excuse me, but i am hijacking this thread. Can someone please explain to me the differences of this method? What are the pros and cons of using I2C instead of the usual way? Is this saving pins or only wires? You would still need a Teensy/Arduino, i guess. @Fleder See this page: Preparation of the ...

Re: Would an Arduino screen be compatible with pi? Example pic inside
You should be able to use without a controller board. You just have to connect the corresponding RPi GPIO pins to the pins on the board. @tronicgr posted the instructions as a good starting point. Videos in this site show RPi using the same type of SPI screens: http://www.whence.com/rpi/ Good luck a...

I heard that @Helder is already making a custom button board for this even before that image was leaked.

Re: Taking the GBZ on a flight
I think they're only being precautions about a battery blowing up. I figure if it's tested well, it's fine. Batteries don't tend to randomly explode. True, but I figure the odds of it happening are at the very least slightly higher with a hand-made console like this, and on a plane the repercussion...

Re: Wii U Gamepad zero/gamepi project thread
Thanks for posting this Helder!
It appears there's ample space for a full sized Pi3, a large battery and a cooling solution to boot.

Re: HELP!: LIFTED PP22 and PP23
Examine closely the thin traces that lead to the lifted pads and lightly scratch using the corner edge of a flat screw precision driver. Be careful not to scratch too much though. Scratch the points as far away from each other as you can so it's easier to solder. Optional: Once you solder them both ...

Re: Throwing in the towel
Sorry to hear that @MichaelRampage. Can't blame you. I was at the same point of giving up after busting 2 USB hubs but the idea of a portable device with various emulators kept me going. (Note: I have working GB classic, GBA and GBA SP but they all cannot play other platforms obviously) Not sure you...

Re: BW 3,5 LCD 5v conversion
You board appears to be similar to what I got from NiceShopping and I didn't mod it to run on 5v. Did you try testing it unmodded using 5v? Test it first before doing any modding. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k141/adrktemplar/2016-04-19%2018.50.42_zpszylequlb.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albu...
