Re: Help configuring Pisnes
Any specific games that are not running fine, i've never had any issues with the pre installed snes emulators. I wonder if there is some other issue. Also, i've never used pisnes, but can you not go to the retroarch.cfg and see what the buttons are labelled as in there, and use that. Also note, if ...

Help configuring Pisnes
I am trying to switch over to pisnes on my GBZ because the other emulators are lagging a bit for me. The problem is that pisnes does not use the same config file for the controller input as the other emulators. So I found out I need to edit the snes9x.cfg file with the controller input for my custom...

Re: Charging/Power Lights. How have you done them?
Veteran gamer has a good example of how to do extra LEDs coming off your power boost. You can just attach a power and a ground wire from the powerboost and connect them to a LED and you're on business.

Re: How to do actual shoulder bumpers like on a snes controller?
Love the look of these. I'd assume you'd need some sort of 3D printed bracket or something to hold it all together.

Re: Gameboy Zero 4 buttons PCB wiring
I am also planning on doing this project, but what pins are for the left and right trigger? and do I just ground the buttons to the ground pin right? Also after I wire it up will retropie automatically recognize the controller? In the example given above by snoek09 L is 14 and R is 21. For groundin...

Re: Gameboy Zero screen flickering
For my first few builds I really liked using the backup camera monitor because it was cheap and hacking it apart made me feel like MacGyver. But now that I have made my first Kite CS build and I have seen what a much better screen can look like I don't think I'll go back to the backup monitors anyti...

Re: Looking for Help With Parts List
I would definitely recommend doing two builds. My first build was hacked together using all different parts and was a huge mess but It worked and i learned a lot. Then on your second build you can learn from your mistakes and maybe even get a Kite Circuit Sword. I really loved building my first one ...

Re: Total Noob
From what you're describing VeteranGamer's suggestion of Kite is correct. Easiest and best project IMO, but it will cost a little more and preorders are closed. Might be able to sweet talk someone on the forum into selling you their preorder, I ordered 2 but plan on using them both. If you look real...

SNES lagging on Pi ZeroW.
I have been using one of my GBZ's for the last year and recently a lot of SNES games have started lagging. I thought it might be my SD card so I flashed a fresh version of retropie and installed some games. Even on the fresh install I get a ton of lag on Super Mario World which used to play perfectl...

I just flashed a new sd card and that seems to have fixed it.
