I m a totaly newbee at sudomod and also with retroPi, so please be gentle :) i`ve ordered one of the Pi Zero Ws and look for the right immage. so is there a different between the retroPi Img for the Pi2/3 and these ones for the pi Zero? and is there a way to get the img from the original retropi.or...

It was an old image released before the zero w was common knowledge Ran the update inside RetroPie settings using a normal zero (not w) then that made the SD card work on my w just tried that (thanks) when i got mine there must not have been an update (i tried on wednesday last week) well at least ...

so you've started from a fresh img....and didnt update your current build

If you install the normal image on a standard pi zero, then update, it will then work on the zero. I think there is a file that needs updating so it knows what a zero w is is that what you did... because when i tried it last week it didnt work for me.... maybe i tried before the update yeah i tried...
