Re: Wii U Gamepad zero/gamepi project thread

SMD or Through Hole parts? I guess SMD would be nice but it's really up to you. There's limited space back there so I guess SMD to get it as compact as possible. A tactile switch should work fine. You could even have the switch mount to the opposite side of the board as the components. The power bu...

Would be awesome if someone could design a PCB to handle this circuit. We could place the board right underneath the power button.

Re: DS Lite Pi Zero - Mod Discussion

Stuck the display in today, fits like a charm! :D I had to trim around the edges a bit but no big deal. It fits perfectly between the two speaker housings. Safety Question - Batteries in Parallel

Is it entirely safe to wire up 2 of these 3.7v 2500mAh LiPo Batteries together in parallel? (thus theoretically producing a single 5000mAh, 3.7v battery) Basically wire both red and black leads to their respective spots on the Powerboost 1000c. I understand it will take longer to charge, but will it...

Re: Wii U Gamepad zero/gamepi project thread

Here are some pictures of basic layout inside wiiu gamepad To fit two 1860 batteries I have to gremel out top part of back cover and battery compartment. http://imgur.com/a/F5vEV Interesting, looks very clean! I might do it this way rather than mounting everything to the bottom half of the case lik...

I highly doubt it haha, not sure how that could be utilized by RetroPie either, especially seeing how the Pi Zero can't handle DS games. There just isn't room for it either. I think a clear window will suffice for looks :D

Re: DS Lite Pi Zero - Mod Discussion

Got the shell in today....it has a surprising amount of potential for space, keeping the original battery holder will work perfectly. Will definitely need to order a motherboard and tap into the controls for that, but if I can figure out a way to route the ribbon cable through that hinge, this proje...
