Re: GBC AIO
Don't forget to rotate that display in software. The 2.6 is the perfect fit for the GBC, in time Bluups driver will be available for use just credit where it's due and I'm sure everyone will be content. 32teeth has his schematics freely available for this screen, so a good place to start. Yup good ...

Re: GBC AIO
another update. Finished testing everything on the first proto. Was able to test the extended sd card connector, screen, and controls. All working well. In the middle of making the proper adjustments now in the design. Things that need to be changed: Low battery detection and shut down detection com...

Re: GBZ Rear Tactile Pad PCB ( on OSHPark)
I actually do something similar with shoulder pcbs I make. I have a few updated versions of the pads but I don't have pics of them at the moment. This is all I got on my phone. Same concept, has through-holes for the switches and normal traces to use conductive pads instead. https://i.imgur.com/e4T6...

Re: GBC AIO
I figure I can power the lm393 from battery instead. Provide a little more headroom. Then just add one more v divider for the line comparing to shut down the pi, since the low battery comparator already has a divider set up. So besides changing a bit of routing, it would only need 2 additional resis...

Re: GBC AIO
You need an ADC of some kind to properly do battery monitoring unless you were planning to use a comparator then you need a steady voltage to compare to. Yeah I'm using a comparator for basic low battery detection. Pretty much just throw a light on as a warning. Me being a dunce, i set the circuit ...

Re: GBC AIO
After going through a bit more, realized I won't be able to Implement low battery shutdown without a regulated 5v. Probably going to cut that feature out, but will keep the normal safe shutdown

Re: GBC AIO
Got a little more done Was gonna wait for my hot air station but that won't be here for another week so I did the battery charging circuitry with an iron. Looks kinda crappy but working. Charging it right now, voltage is going up at the battery terminals so going good. Led working as well, waiting f...

Re: Gaboze Pocaio - Board testing
The board pretty much relies fully on a pi being soldered to it. The audio requires the pwm gpio, the video requires the spi gpio, the controls require the mapped keypress gpios. And then the pi also is used to help distribute 3v from what I remember. The board is pretty useless without the pi solde...
