I ended up going with the standard Shapeoko 3, it's been amazing so far. I haven't really done much aluminum cutting but I know it can do a fair bit.
Looks awesome! Adding this to my "tools wishlist"…

The solution to the later is to unsolder the mode button and replace it with similar one to where the stem is about 2mm longer.
Any more info on which size tactile switch I should buy for this?

Re: Veteran's 4th "NO Dpad BUILD" (Arcade Edition)

Do you have any recommendations on where to start if I want to learn to make my own board like you did? You mentioned this was based on a board by Helder. Did Helder release a copy people are able to modify? I'd like to learn more on how to do something like this so I can swap my d-pad for an analog...

Re: [For Sale]HoolyHoo's AIO bracket for Kite's Circuit Sword Board

I ordered a couple display brackets and brass inserts yesterday and just realized that I also need the brackets that hold the kite circuit sword power switch in place. Is there a place I can order that from you as well?

Re: GameBoy RR (Rolls Royce)

Looks awesome! I'm waiting for BoxyPixel to restock so I can get one of these cases myself.

What CNC did you end up buying for this project? I'm curious how big it is and how much it costs. I'll have garage space soon and would love to add a CNC to my tool kit as well.

Re: Aluminum GameBoy Zero build

Whoa! These look awesome! Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see the backs! My only gripe is the dual speaker grills. Not a fan of how they look. I think since you didn't add the angle on the corner then you should have changed the holes from being the same lines. Very poor drawing of 2 alternate...
