Yeah, this sounds like a pretty complex goal. If I was gonna tackle this, I'd take (at least) three projects I'd suggest start simple. Lipos are pretty risky to mess with. If anything goes wrong, you end up with a fire that you can't put out with an extinguisher. The biggest issue with this approach is that lithium cells can discharge far more current than they can accept when charging. If one cell discharges into the others, well,...

Looks like the screw holes are sized for M2.5 screws. Those should be readily available through McMaster-Carr (for Americans) or Amazon small parts. FWIW, I've used etcher" to image SD cards on a Mac, and haven't had any issues.
