[For Sale] My 2 Gameboy Zeroes (6 buttons front versions)

I have too many Gameboy Zeroes so I put these two up for sale - l_1237151151.jpg The orange has Helder's 1.4 AIO board, USB Audio is soldered to USB connections on the board but not activated due to the board (or retropie) not recognised the USB Audio board so the sound output is PWM on this one. It...

Re: DAC sound card or nothing?

that will work (its actually a pretty decent one) but you can get a similar one for a fraction of the cost (which will also work)..... https://i.imgur.com/C2xihUw.jpg https://www.aliexpress.com/item/USB-Sound-Card-USB-Audio-5-1-External-USB-Sound-Card-Audio-Adapter-Mic-Speaker-Audio/32659748710.htm...

Re: Issues With Stereo Audio(Pi3+PAM8403+ Kedei HDMI)

I think you are the first to use pi 3 and HDMI. did you try the config.txt example to see if it helps with the power problem? I read somewhere in this forum that composite screen draws 430mA, which would means the HDMI screen draws much more. In your case you need to source a more powerful power boo...

Re: [WIP] Salami's 1st GBZ HDMI I2C Shift-Button Brightness Control

I was thinking of turning the AMP from speaker amp to headphones amp and use the headphones jack with switch to turn off the speaker when headphones plugged in. This way you can have stereo speakers, the 1W tablet speakers. OR do the headphones pass through, connect the speakers direct to the AMP ou...

One question - How do you intend to reduce/increase volume if using headphones?

Re: Issues With Stereo Audio(Pi3+PAM8403+ Kedei HDMI)

Sorry didn't realise that you don't intend to use headphones. I was thinking of using the headphones with switch such that you can cut out the output to speakers when headphones plugged in. Anyhow, the diagram above will reduced the output of the amp then you can connect the speakers to where it say...

Re: Battery from battery pack

you could use those with heavy modifications to the case and they are rubbish IMHO.

I am supprised if the charge would last more than 30 mins when playing.

Re: Issues With Stereo Audio(Pi3+PAM8403+ Kedei HDMI)

The config.txt settings is just to see if the power consumption reduced since there will be no down scale processing involves. That is up to @deRock89 to see which resolutions is acceptable. As for the resistors you could follow this blog here - http://chromo.cc/crate/crate-sound-headphone-amplifier...

Re: Issues With Stereo Audio(Pi3+PAM8403+ Kedei HDMI)

No it would not reduce brightness and graphics. Its job is to set the right graphics resolutions (what the screen support) on the pi so that there would be less work on the GPU on the screen trying to scale down. Note I am not talking about the GPU on the pi. Suppose the Pi output is 720p via HDMI t...
