Re: What 3d Printer do you have?
I find it hilarious that people keep referring to Cadillacs as though they're the pinnacle of automotive greatness, when in reality they're fairly mediocre cars.

Re: Parts Assembly
Soldering... if you're concerned, I'd suggest getting a couple of inexpensive electronics kits to practice on. (see the guide to soldering kits) Dremelling... I'm a big proponent of hand tools for tasks like this. Dremels spin too fast, with too much torque to cut plastic. They'll do the job quickly...

Tevo has a reputation for very sketchy, fire-hazard-ey electronics and occasionally difficult or problematic builds. If you're looking for an inexpensive i3-style printer, I'd take a look at the Monoprice MakerSelect line instead.

Re: Parts Assembly
You've got a Teensy plus USB breakout and USB plugs. If you're planning to use more than one USB device, you'll need a USB hub. I'd suggest getting a PRStech cartridge PCB if you're trying to make a functional cartridge. It seems to eliminate a lot of the headaches. How are you doing audio? The amp ...

Re: New Build Questions
Hey there, so I was wondering what this PCB doesn't have, that I will need to get, that the AIO boards DO have. Everything. That board just gives you button contacts. It's basically a substitute for the copper tape hacked GameBoy PCB Wermy used in his original build. So you'd want to follow these v...

Re: What 3d Printer do you have?
I recently bought a CR-10. Pretty happy with it so far. I debated between the Mk2S and the CR-10. The Prusa is great and if it's in your budget and is big enough for your needs, it's almost the default choice - you'd have to spend way more money to get anything that's better. (IMO, it's a tough call...

Re: A newbie who is a little confused.
Is it the kind of thing where he offers them in batches and you have to catch when he's offering? Yes. And he's currently focusing on the Minty Pi ( http://www.sudomod.com/mintypi-custom-parts-guide/ ) at the moment, so it will probably be a while before his board is available again. You don't *nee...

Re: DaftMike's SNESpi
True. Though apparently he's not going to do a kit for this one, because the NESpi was such a mess. Besides, apart from the case (and apparently he's releasing the files for them), the only 'special' component in his build is the vertical RFID antenna, and I suspect that won't be too hard to overcom...

Re: Games
So the cps-1 games won’t work with the zero but the Pokemon remakes will What? CPS-1 will depend on the title and the emulator, as with all MAME emulation. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SHspjyHavY9-PKbO2swDr52BS2Wl_mB_Vjx2Z1SXiD8/edit#gid=828747670 is a comaptibility list for MAME4...
