Hoolyhoo, How does the alignment for this bracket's buttons compare to the bracket erik_gee is offering? I've previously used his for L1 and R1, but I'm tempted to try switching to yours. Would the holes line up, or do I need to try something different? Like get a second one of his brackets? I can ...

You can try, I was originally going to use one but it was a lot hard to align everything up and you have to shave the plastic on the shell a little bit :) i have orderd last week the buttons from aliexpress (like your example) https://de.aliexpress.com/item/100Pcs-Tactile-Switch-Momentary-Tact-6x6x...

CSO - Mode Button - Tactile Button 2 or 4 pin?

Can i also use a 4 pin 6x6x6mm tactile Button for replacing the short mode button or must I use a 2 Pin button?

Can I apply also double sided tape to the fan like with the heatsink to attach the fan to the CM3?
