Re: [Idea] Hidden button "keyboard"

Hmm.. Interesting idea!

I did wonder whether you might be able to do something like this using software, maybe through the microcontroller? Have an extra button that acts like a "Shift" key, altering the mappings for the remaining buttons whilst pressed?

Ah, nuts... Hadn't really thought about the impact of this until I clapped eyes on the board!

@Fleder - any joy with the ATTiny167? Just looking myself at how to get one up and running?

Re: Bashprojects GBZ

Looks very nice - good clean lines on the screen, and those SNES buttons really brighten it all up :)

Re: Battery Charged Indicator?

This bothered me too. I'm planning on desoldering the PowerBoost 1000c LEDs and running wires from the pads through unused cart pins to a board with the LEDs re-mounted, then have light pipes direct the output through the top of the cart.

.... At least, that's the plan!

Re: Kalen's GBZ

Looking really nice @Kalen! Nearly slapped myself when I saw your modified port cover for the USB, as I absent-mindedly threw mine away when I was modding the shell

Glad you had such little trouble so far - is that everything finished now?

Nice start @smoki! Gotta love the v7! ;)

Really interested in your "no hot glue" approach, will be nice to see how this turns out!

Good luck!

Re: ELUDE's GBZ [15% complete]

You're very welcome Elude! Glad I could help out! :D

Going to start putting my own build log together soon. I'm at about the same stage as you so far.

Looking good so far Elude - nice idea with the screw posts! Good luck with the rest of the build!

Oh no!

That is some awful luck! I really feel for you - let's hope the rest of the build goes a little more smoothly!
