Nylon can be dyed. https://makezine.com/2013/05/09/how-to- ... 3d-prints/
That's interesting. I don't quite understand that website though – are all the pics of the tesla coil intentional or did something get mixed up? :?

Thanks for sharing, that looks good!

Re: what do you do for a living?

I'm a graphics designer currently employed as a 3D artist for architectural visualization. These days I am doing all of the SFX, compositing, color correction and grading for our movies though. In other words – I don't know jack about electronics. And I fear for my safety and everyone's around me on...

I found someone to print the faceplate on 3dhubs. The material is crystal frosted.... might paint it red to match the peppermint theme, or just stick with it as-is.
That's interesting. Would you mind posting some pictures once you get your model?

That sounds about right – unfortunately SLA prints are not cheap.

Re: Game Boy Zero case CAD files

Since we opt for a modified printed case why not to integrate other mods as well to make assembly easier. Since I've yet to actually build a GBZ I wasn't sure what people actually need and kept to the basics. I guess adding features for yourself might be easier than getting rid of things you don't ...

Re: Wanted maroon DMG A and B buttons

I am not sure if you could find just the AB buttons unless someone here happens to have those left over. You can however get a full button set on eBay or at several shops on the net for five bucks or less in practically all colors including the original scheme. Search for 'gameboy dmg buttons' or so...

Re: Game Boy Zero case CAD files

You could also get a laser SLA print. They are usually much better in surface quality (as the laser solidifies resin at a much higher resolution than a printer nozzle will achieve) but will most likely also cost you more.

Re: [PREORDER] Custom GBZ lipo battery pack

Thanks for your suggestions and tips, guys. :) Putting in the battery evenly was of course the first thing I tried. I guess my pictures don't reflect that very well as the battery is just lying at an angle. Pushing in the blue plastic is barely possible. It works well on the edges of the battery's b...

Re: [PREORDER] Custom GBZ lipo battery pack

I just started working on my GBZ case and the first thing I did was cutting out the inner parts of the battery tray. Following the pictures in the first post I modified my case to make room for the battery. Unfortunately even with all the supports cut out the battery doesn't fit. :( My guess is that...
