Yeah, I did the mod and it's much improved:
I used blue because it's what I had on the desk in front of me.

I suspected so, I may just leave it to be honest. Unless there's a way of converting between the 2.
Edit, bought a direct 1:1 board, may as well.

Re: [GUIDE] Wiring Diagrams: all-in-one board, graceful shutdowns, audio-only board
I have a micro SD breakout board from another project, I was thinking of using it on in a GBZ. The pin out is different to this diagram though. I can't seem to see how it cross refers. Image here, can anyone help? https://goo.gl/photos/tELgP8huXnoZbrdS6 Thanks Yup that will work! Your device: My Wi...

Re: Custom/Aftermarket Build Guide Part 1
Great video, it really shows how far the process has come. Great work from everyone in the community. I was curious about the mod you did on the display board despite it running on 5V. I have a V7 board on my BW screen which doesn't require modding. I noticed when testing today it flickers phases s...

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
Thanks for the reply. I think i have Variant 7. Fingers crossed just putting a jumper wire from the regulator should do it (think its VCC to red) Did you try this? I have v7 and have phasing, wondered if you successfully modded it. The voltage regulator on mine is in the same place as the one in Rx...

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
Currently using the BW car display on Amazon and it seems to work ok without having to chamge/remove the voltage regulator. The image came on for about 5 seconds the first time i switched it on, but it stays on now np. The only thing i've noticed is that there are flickering/hazy lines over the ima...

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version)
Ordered. Will you be able to supply ak34 with the necessary files for the AIO wiring thread to be updated with this PCB? It would help a lot of people out, especially as this seems to be the preferred option over pololu.
