I dont get it, you want to create your button pcb, or you want to know where to wire that ground pad?
For the 2nd option, just wire it to any ground around your build? on the pi, on a teensy, on the ground breakout..

Re: Gameboy Pocket Button PCB
Saw that in OpenGBZ github. Very nice, and thanks for sharing.
Although not my favourite handheld, but would be nice to see someone build one

Re: Pwm audio
I just use the adafruit pam8403 ones (blue ones). Still not great, but I found them to be better than the cheapo green amps. But lately I've been using i2s. Little pricey. But quality is amazingly better. https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-max98357-i2s-class-d-mono-amp Yeah, these look really grea...

Re: GBZ first try
It turned out ok. i think all 1st builds are a bit rough, it's the way it is if you are using single and simple components.
Thus, it works so you can be happy about it.
That controller board, is just a common ground and pwm traces, or it has place for the amplifier?

Re: Pwm audio
So, I guess the problem is solved. Edit: I take that back. Still getting multiple button presses every-so-often. It’s extremely frustrating when playing menu based rpgs. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Well, probably there was a problem with the common ground board in the pwm trac...
