Anyone else have a GPi Case?

Hows your battery life? Everything I see posted around the internet says 3-4 hours but I get less than one hour on fresh batteries. I have used Amazon, Rayovac, and Duracell all with same results. I will buy rechargeable AAs if it can get that 3-4 hours but I dont want to waste the money if it wont....

I'd start with a fresh image and see if it makes a difference. Or you can reinstall the i2s script. Maybe that will help.
I did both. No change. I do get the “lvl0 mixer elements not found” error when launching or closing a game. But that was there before, when I had audio.

Re: PocketPi FE audio quit working.

You replaced the audio chip? If so is it oriented properly? And soldered on properly? They are a bit tricky to solder on and if not oriented properly will not work at all. To my knowledge, it is on correctly. I put a new one on the same way I did the first but I will triple check it. Can a volume w...

Robochris’ Atomic Purple “Pocket Pi FE”

Wow, what a journey this was. This was the most frustrating build I’ve done yet. Not to anger any one, but I’ve had two blank boards since last November. And have been working on them inconsistently on and off since then. The components weren’t too hard to put on. A good experience, I’d say. I used ...

hey, if you are considering selling your damaged proj, lmk how much you are willing to sell for. ty!
The board is not useable. I took a dremel to it. The rest is so cheap and readily available online , it’s not really worth my time to pack up and ship out.

Re: Powering off

Small rant but this has been the most unenjoyable build I’ve done. I’ve had 2 blank pcbs since November 2018. Fried a tiny resistor twice on one and can’t figure out why, and this one can’t seem to run correctly. Screen problems. Audio problems. Power problems. I don’t really like the premade img bu...

[Solved] Powering off

I can’t seem to figure out how to turn the system off and on like normal. If the system is on and I flip the top switch it seems to just kill emulationstation and just sits at the terminal without powering off. If I flip the switch on the small green board on the front then flip the top switch it wi...
