Hope you don't mind the thread jacking I am also having the same issue sounds works but is so Ooo quiet. Tried all of the above apart from the retroarch bit will try later and confirm if it has fixed it.

I have stereo sound via headphones but nothing on the speakers. The pot works when using headphones.

I have PWM wired up and added to the bottom of the config.
