Re: All of Rodocops GBZ's in one place

8? geez man lol. i plan to make 4 of them in the end but i doubt i'll do more than that even if i do enjoy doing it (one for me, one for my 2 brothers, one for a very dear friend of mine). If i do a 5th it'll be because my roommate's mom bugged me enough for one lol. She saw the one i got built and ...

Re: Game Boy Pi B

Ah i see. Adding in the XY buttons is a close fit. My screen is literally rubbing against the buttonwell for my X button lol. Some wells people have CAD files for include a screen slot and the top bit of the X button well isnt even there, its that tight of a fit. LR is where you gotta get creative. ...

Re: Game Boy Pi B

Trust me, its a lot cleaner than you think. I'm actually waiting on some wire so i can rewire....practically everything in mine because its such a spaghetti mess i dont wanna show it off lol. I'm assuming the lack of extra buttons just means you didnt care about snes/sega games? Which if youre like ...

Re: GooseWerksShop Build Thread

someones been a busy bee ... good grief man... i enjoy putting these together but i dont think i could sell them. Even to just get my money back feels "steep" when i look at the parts, my first GBZ is pretty bare boned and it cost me around 150ish. Some people understand and would pay it but most wo...

Re: Clean Hdmi Zero Build from Germany - no hot glue

Brave. Very brave. I dont see a free USB port for direct access in case something happens and you cant SSH in. Not that it would be terribly difficult to crack it open and unhook your controls but it would definitely be irritating. Whats that button poking out the original power port? I dont see a s...

Re: Does "proper soldering" not matter?

"Proper soldering technique" will yield better results and have less risk of damaging the pads, but there are several ways to cheat it. Both when i was taking classes and when i soldered my own stuff i just got annoyed at that technique. Always tin the wire (even solid wires) and it makes it much mu...

Re: So, Nintendo might think there might be a market

i heard of this and laughed. Even if its a bundled gameboy package (as in all gameboy products, from original up to advance) there isnt many games that have survived the test of time. Lot of them we enjoyed as kids purely because...it was portable lol... Though if it does include up to advance i kno...

Re: Pi no longer responds to inputs!

I cant shell into it as it has no wifi and i have no compatible dongles. I managed to remedy it by replacing the carbon.xml file. I must have altered something by accident because this time when i set the font it worked, and now i can actually READ lol. Your info is definitely useful though i'll boo...
