Hello, Im completely new here, and completely new to soldering. Im trying to learn by fixing broken electronics, and my first victim is a pair of broken bone conduction headphones. One of the mics broke off snapping two wires away from the board that was set inside the bulb. So my question is, can I just use existing solder joints to reset the wires of the broken mic onto the board? Would this even work as a fix?

If it was just the wires that snapped and the pads weren't ripped off the PCB, that should work fine.

And it did! Fix was a success! I’m so happy and excited! These were a gift from a good friend of mine and I’m so happy to have them working again! Thanks for your input. :)
