I'm doing mine with a 10.000 mAh battery. But, try and find something at least brand name or known. For $5 you can't find a decent 18650 battery let alone the whole circuit plus battery.

This is the one I got for $5. It's 2600mah i believe got a mini board and battery reads 18650 I know this battery won't fit, but I'm figuring the board will be useful.. but probably not since the mah is low

I got one like that, I tested it and it powers the Pi with the screen just fine, I just don't think you can charge and play at the same time, it's output is 5v 1a

The battery fits inside I think, someone here is making one with 2 of those, mounted them sideways, just have to make different cuts, it's a tight fit

Anyone found a better solution?
The hardest item to get right now is a lithium battery, since I live in Viet Nam and shipping battery is not possible. So I need to figure out another way...

Does anyone find a better power bank with lithium inside or a way to make li-ion which can support charge/play at the same time?
