Hey dom, that sounds like an awesome how-to guide if you're willing to do it and have the means to document it. I'm sure people wouldn't mind trying making their own buttons if it's simple.
If I do it, then I will make a guide. I have already ordered 5 button sets to use as a mold and bought the condutive pads.
Now, apart from red and transparent red, what colours do you want? :D
I think any of your neon or florescent colors would be a winner. I'd personally be interested in a florescent orange set

O.k., so far this evening I have made the mold shell halves, ordered some silicone, clear resin and some florescent orange pigment that glows in the dark! I am going to look for some more pigment colours tomorrow. I think I can make 5 or 6 button sets at at time.

You're the man. I'll buy a set from you if they turn out.

Oh man dominator,

is there some kind of flat rate i could set up with you? :)
I would be interested, too. Real Red and dark Black would be great.

I had the idea of molding Start + Select buttons.
Because only the protruding top would have to be plastic, the rest could be the original silicone stuff, which i would cut the top of and glue on the plastic, if this somehow will work.

Have you thought about this, too? One could also use silicone for the whole mold and paint on some conductive silver/paint.

I'm interested. These sound like they'd go nicely with a neon green translucent case with some leds and colored hotglue.

Attempt no1. :

I need to glue or stop the silicone from going under the buttons. Also my scales broke when adding the hardener, so I think I put too much hardener in the silicone and it was setting when I was pouring it.
I'm going to try again.

Do you think it would be difficult to make a how-to guide for this Dom?

Appreciated Dom, always wanted to try making molds myself.
