Giant NES controller chest/coffee table
not pictured is that it will have hinges
also the top will have raised bits on the corners so a sheet of glass/acrylic can be placed over it to use it as a table
the giant controller itself will be functional and the plug for it will come through a hole near the controller ports
the little caves to each side are to house normal controllers
game carts are inserted in a slot on the top
i may also wire in an emulation station to have access to every game because of reasons
but then i'd want to figure out how to switch between using that or the actual NES
which i may do, idk
this is a theorhetical project for when i have room for this

It's an awesome idea and very similar to these - which I thought were super cool!

That looks very cool! Are you using SketchUp for the modelling?

Surprisingly quite similar to actual controllers, except using momentary switches instead of contact pointsHUg0005 wrote:How are you going to make the buttons functional?

That's awesome! I remember they did something like this on Attack of the Show, back when Kevin Rose was still on the show.
