There is too much noise on the audio line from this lcd board. USB card is better and you still need to filter the power line to amp for clear sound.
Teensy is reading analog voltage of the led on compute stick to signal the power state.
I have a Wii U Ras Pi 3 and I get horrible sound from USB audio - lots of static/whine.

When you say filter the power line to the amp are you talking the +5V? or a high/low pass filter for the +audio line? If the former... can you elaborate?
A basic double coil on the power line to audio amp will filter all the noise.

You're a life saver! I've been trying to learn as much as I can about what the coil (inductor) is doing in the circuit. I also added a bunch of bypass capacitors - now I don't get a lightning bolt at startup and the noise coming out of the speakers are gone.

Absolutley stunned, fantastic work !

Used Gamepad is ordered and W3 Intel® Atom® x5 x5-Z8300 (4 x 1.84 GHz) https://www.conrad.de/de/mini-pc-htpc-t ... 77901.html is already here. I want to build something similar but i have some Questions:

- Is it possible to use the same screen from your RP WII U Gamepad for this Project ?Or does the old screen not work with Windows ?
- Is is not possible to connect the Speakers directly with the headphone jack of the soundchip on RP or Windows stick ? Why a additional Soundcard ?
- i want to install an HDMI port, so i can connect a external screen, do i Need a Special switch for that ?
thanks in advance

1. Atom z8300 with 2gb ram will not run cemu
2. The old screen can be used but the resolution is only 800x480 and it is not IPS so poor viewing angles and colours.
3. Intel stick does not have any audio output so you would need a hdmi splitter. Audio from USB card is superior compared to the one on RPI.
4. For additional hdmi out you need a splitter/switch

@banjokazooie thanks for reply

1 Cemu is not absolutely necessary. Emulators, and some Windows games like Stardew Valley are absolutely enough ... where Cemu would be great ;-)
2 ok then i go with the a ips panel with human delivery times...
3 the minipc that i have has an headphone out, but then i need somethin to switch between speakers and Headphone.

BTW which screwdriver do i need Y0 or Y1 ?
Beside your 2k Display which 6 display would you suggest?

@banjokazooie thanks
Why did you here used a teensy 2.0 ++ and in your rp project a teensy 2.0 ? Whats the difference?

will the "teensy based controller" in windows/ steam games recognized as xbox 360 controller?

Teensy 2++ has 48 IO ports and I needed some extra for RGB leds and battery monitoring.
In windows it is recognized as usb joystick/gamepad and you can install the xbox360 drivers for it.

Ok thanks.
What do you think about this screen https://www.aliexpress.com/store/produc ... 4226WL0V5d

Its the smallest 7" inch screen i found. Outline 161mm ×107 mm. Resolution 1280 × 800.
But the board gets power via dc adapter. I am unsure if i can power this thing over usb port.maybe with a usb to dc adapwter /converter.
