Just thought I would share my PSone that I have been working on. The controller ports work and the LCD connects though the original multi av port on the PSone. The whole thing is powered from the original PSone power brick.

Here is a few pics I took while building it. I still have some things to do like add another front USB port in to the second memory card slot but I am waiting on more parts to come.

Wiring the cheap playstation controller to usb adapter in to the controller ports.

Testing the PSone power brick. I had to route the HDMI out the side since I couldn't figure out a good way to run it out the back and still be able to mount the LCD. On the right side of the case is a cheap USB hub I used so I could turn off the controller ports since I am mostly using Bluetooth controllers. I am also using it for the front USB ports.

I had to mod the LCD since it expects RGB from the Playstation.

I cut an access hole in the side so I could get the SD card out from the Pi without having to take it out of the case.

How the back looks without the LCD attached.

EDIT: Fixed several spelling errors and missing words! It is early here. lol

Could you please show how the composite cable was connected to the AV port?
using this pinout: https://www.gamesx.com/avpinouts/psxav.htm, I understand where to solder, I just don't know if I did it correctly since the screen shows no image.
Thanks!
