Very nice setup. Did you cut the cabinet yourself, or was it a flat pack? I ask because I'm considering making a bartop with some salvaged laptop lcds but all the flat packs I've been seeing are for 17,19 or 21/22 inch monitors.

Very nice! What do you have running it?

Going to move this to the project show-off area where more people will see it. :)

Thanks for the reply. I used a Raspberi pi 3 with Emulation Station. For a screen I cannibalized an old 15 (or 17?) inch monitor. For controls I bought:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Player-Arca ... SwYIxX4lGl (Surprisingly good quality)

If i want player 2 i have an XBOX 360 wireless controller dongle connected and configured
For audio i bought a cheapo €15 amplifier and €10 speakers

As for tools all i used to cut the wood was a jigsaw and MK1 eyballs nothing elaborate (sandpaper, screwdrivers etc)

Here's one I put together a couple years ago using an ion iCade as the housing: https://instagram.com/p/BUUqVhjF8dL/
Still works great, upgraded it with a pi 3 recently. :)

Thanks! It uses an old, used 12.1" Dell laptop LCD panel, along with a controller board for it (I think it was about $50 together, so not too bad). Also uses one of these for the controls: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251241991403?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
