Anything over 6.5 inch / 145mm wide will not fit.xouliox wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 12:01 pmOk thanks.
What do you think about this screen https://www.aliexpress.com/store/produc ... 4226WL0V5d
Its the smallest 7" inch screen i found. Outline 161mm ×107 mm. Resolution 1280 × 800.
But the board gets power via dc adapter. I am unsure if i can power this thing over usb port.maybe with a usb to dc adapwter /converter.

Hi
When i cut the fram/hole for the display a bit bigger and remove the camera 161x107 should fit.
I hope... But i found this screen with different boards iam unsure which board i can power up with usb.
Do you know if the rt2660h can be powered with usb ?
I read display 3v and board 5 -12v

Re: WII U Intel m5 Console
the problem would probably more be the lack of current than voltage... how much is consuming the screen, that's the right question to answer.

Re: WII U Intel m5 Console
Would not be easier just to use a tested lcd just like this so you have perfect fit and runs straight from 5V with no modification ? But It does have lower resolution. All of these small lcd's will draw around 500 mA depending on brightness.

Re: WII U Intel m5 Console
Yes you are right. The seller had also written to me that the 7 "screen can only be operated with an external power supply. The decision for the right display I find difficult, either the resolution is good, but the screen is too small, or the size fits but the resolution is worse.
Re: WII U Intel m5 Console
With the 5.9 1080p screen and the standard digitizer there is a lot of space between display and gamepad frame so i need a wider bezel or something.
Any ideas how to handle this ?

Re: WII U Intel m5 Console
I have used the original bezel from wii u touch screen

and printed frame with small lip around lcd
Re: WII U Intel m5 Console
My bezel is broken and my digitzer came without the bezel.... i have to buy a additional.
@banjokazooie
How did you connect the digitzer with the ar1100 ? Did you soldered the cable ?
The cable from my digitzer is bit smaller.
Or is the cable of the original digitzer the right size for the ar1100 ?
Thanks

Re: WII U Intel m5 Console
The connector on the ar1100 is standard 1mm pitch 4 pin. Adafruit sells just the bare board with the smaller 0.5mm pitch 4 pin connector but will not fit wiiu touchscreen because of the thinner flex.xouliox wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 1:50 pmMy bezel is broken and my digitzer came without the bezel.... i have to buy a additional.

You need standard 0.5mm pitch 4pin locking smd connector which I have soldered onto common micro usb type pcb board.
