Hey all, I've been toying with the idea of building a handheld pizero gaming console for the last year or so. And finaly just got past the bench testing stage and on to design. This forum has been an invaluble resorce for gettting it all working. So wanted to pop in and say thanks and host my build log here. I've got some free time ovewr the holidays so hopefuly I can get this up and running in the next 10 days

So far I've got everything working on a bread board, drawn out some concept ideas, done a quick(ish) case design in fusion 360 and have got the first draft prining right now.

So heres the finished console. Overall I am pleased with the end result. Its fairly different to my initial drawings but I think it still has a retro vibe to it.
Things I dont like are: I eneded up gluing the powerboost in becasue I couldnt wait for anoth print with the mounting points in the right place. The buttons I ordered are super loud! Definatly going to go with diferent ones next time.

I've ordered all the bits for my next build, pi3a+ and hd screen. Planing on a psone theme.

Cheers man. The first design turned out to be not so great for printing so I've had to scale back some of the design flurishes. I've got another one on the printter now so I'll update with pics later. BTW the pink filiment is just for drafting, I'll print in black and red like the sketch when I get to the finall print.
