I found out that phpbb support lots of weird characters for username that other programs doesn't support, like @
I think it will be good to limit later registration to 0-9 a-z A-Z and _

Thanks, yeah I was just reading about that.1461748123 wrote:@wermy

I think this might be the problem.MediaWiki replaces underscores with spaces in usernames
I was able to login, just used my forum credentials just like you mentioned. I do have an edit tab in the upper right hand side of the screen, and I can edit if I so choose (didn't have anything yet to contribute).wermy wrote:@Kilren it shows you as having logged in. Did you have any issues? Are you able to make an edit?
Yeeaah sorry about that. :\ MediaWiki automatically turns underscores into spaces in some cases. I did some debugging on the extension I'm using to connect phpBB to MediaWiki, and that's what is happening here. The weird thing is when I modify the extension to replace spaces with underscores, it still doesn't work. So I dunno what's up. I'll keep digging, I'm sure you won't be the only one affected by this.crispy_tofu wrote:Ah, that's a shame.I'll probably make a secondary account to make edits on the wiki, I kinda like my underscore.
It's fine. Thank you for making the forum and the wiki, it's really a pleasure to be on here.wermy wrote: Yeeaah sorry about that. :\
