Anyone using Retropie 4.0?

Post by jeffy1021 » Mon Aug 22, 2016 3:15 pm

I just noticed that Retropie 4.0 was released a few days ago. Has anyone updated their GMZ to 4.0 yet? Any issues?

My GBZ is not complete yet, so it would be easy to upgrade.

i'll keep an eye on this.
My first GBZ build -=HERE=- -> Became a gift to my little brother!
My 2nd GBZ build -=WIP HERE=- -> going with HDMI!

My first comment about Retropie 4.0 is that the default Font size they are using in Emulation Station is significantly smaller than what they were using in 3.x, making the ROM lists completely illegible on a 320 x 240 screen. Anyone know how to adjust the font size in Emulation Station to what it was before or bigger?

You already have your answer, but in case anyone else is looking - http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=159

I upgraded to 4.0 as well and everything seems to be fine. I made my SD card accessible from the outside, so I've been routinely capturing images of the card in case of corruption so I don't lose my saved games =). I also made a backup image before upgrading to 4.0 just in case.

I don't have access to the HDMI port which I am ok with.

Oh. I misunderstood. I thought you meant you could see the entire SD card file system instead of only the folders that they allow you to see.
