Hey, it seems the new default shader or overlay on the gameboy emulator is with the green tint like the original gameboy.
I actually liked the previous way it was set up with a clear white screen.
Does anyone know know how to change it back to black and white??

You can push a button immediately if you start a rom and the settings screen for this system will pop up.
There you can choose the emulator that should run witht hose games and other settings.
I am sure you can change it there, if it is possible. If not, try another emulator.

Open the RetroArch RGUI by pressing Select+X on the controller, or Hotkey+F1 on the keyboard (mine is Select and X at the same time) then navigate to:
Quick Menu
Core Options
Change GB Colorization to internal by pressing left or right
Select an Internal Palette with left and right
Press B to go back to the Quick Menu and Resume Content.
To make the change permanent, choose Save Configuration on the main RGUI menu.
It's also possible to edit /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-core-options.cfg and set the palette like:
gambatte_gb_colorization = "internal"
gambatte_gb_internal_palette = "GBC - Grayscale"
The complete list of palettes can be found in the emulator core source:
GBC - Blue
GBC - Brown
GBC - Dark Blue
GBC - Dark Brown
GBC - Dark Green
GBC - Grayscale
GBC - Green
GBC - Inverted
GBC - Orange
GBC - Pastel Mix
GBC - Red
GBC - Yellow

Thank you! This is amazing! It's like they invented the Gameboy Color again!
There's so many menus and such I had no idea this was possible!
